Spells & Chants

Magick is a neutral power.  It is neither good or bad, dark or light.  It can be either or both.  That which determines it's outcome, is in the heart of the person using it.  Think of magick as a flame.  Used properly it can keep you warm and alive, use it carelessly and it can cause serious damage or kill.  So please, remember this and the Threefold Law whenever you use the Power of Magick.

Ever mind the Rule of Three,
Three times your deeds return to thee.
This lesson well, thou must learn,
Thee only gets what thou does earn!

I cannot emphasize this enough.
What you do with magick is your responsibility.  What comes back to you is your own doing.   Use it well and receive it's rewards, use it poorly and receive it's unforgiving consequences.  When you work with the Power of Magick, you work with the Power of the Universe.
Respect it and use it wisely.

The spells and chants listed below are ones I wrote myself unless there is a note saying otherwise.  Please feel free to use them if you feel they can help you, write them in your personal Book of Shadows, if you like.  And by all means, use them in the manner you feel will work best for you, whether it be as a simple chant or more involved, as in candle magick, herb magick, stone magick, etc.  Oh yeah, one more thing . . .

Now that's what I call a copyright!  Do heed it's warning.  It is a real spell.
I give credit where credit is due, so should you.  If you borrow my work, make sure my name is attached to it, especially if it's in something that's published, like a web site!

~Consecration Spell (Elemental)~
I recite this to bless the salt I use in Circle.  Also, to bless the salt I have in a tiny bottle that I keep around my neck to use if I feel unsafe.  For each line respectfully in the chant:  Hold your container of salt, in your receiving hand*, up to the Sun or a flame, next gently swirl it in the air, dip it into Water (don't get the salt wet), and then touch it to the Earth.  As you speak the last sentence, hold it high over your head.

''God of Fire,
God of Air,
Goddess of Water,
Goddess of Earth.
Bless my salt
with safety and protection
from all who would harm.''

*Note:  Your power hand is the hand you use to do most things, usually the hand you write with.  This is your giving or 'sending-out' hand.  Your opposite hand is the one you receive or 'bring in' with.  Example:  If you are right-handed, your right hand is your power hand or your giving hand.  Then your left hand is your receiving hand.  This may not be true in ALL instances.  Use your best judgment and decide for yourself.

~Truth Chant~
This one I wrote because of the large amount of requests I have received by people who need help seeing the truth in a situation.  Use it with whatever method you feel will work best for you.

Goddess of Night
Please help bring
the Truth to Light.''

~A Real Love Spell (candle magick)~

Use your favorite candle magick ritual for this one.  Pink and/ or red candles work wonderfully with this spell.  I wrote this spell for those who have already proclaimed their love to one another (the original intended use of any love spell).   It will not work in trying to make someone fall in love with you.
This is the only love spell I will put in here.  Do not email me for any other love spells, I won't send it.  I will NOT help you make someone fall in love with you.  If that person won't do it on their own, that is their choice.  To force your wants upon another is against the morals of being a Witch.  I am a Witch.  I will not go against my beliefs.  So don't bother asking, I will not answer.

'' I am my Love's,
My love is mine.
Flame, turn our love
More Divine.''

~A chant to find something that is lost.~
I am constantly loosing things or forgetting where I put them.  So I came up with this one to get back what I'm looking for.  One day, if I can ever remember;), I'll write one to stop forgetting/ loosing things instead!

''By the powers of all that is bright,
Show me the way,
To that which I seek.
Make the unseen, seen.''

~Protective Chant~
This was written by the great Scott Cunningham.  It can be found in his book titled, "Wicca, A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner" on page 185.

It reads. . .

I included these two because of all the email I have received by those looking for protection.  And because I could never have created one better.  I use the second one whenever I have the need.
