origins in India, Egypt & Morocco, the art of Mehndi creates designs using
henna for good fortune, love and prosperity. The
leaf of the Henna plant is ground into a powder and made into a paste
that's painted on the skin in ornate & intricate designs. The paste
stains the skin and within 24 hours you have a beautiful creation which
can last up to 4 weeks. Henna is fun for all ages and

formal meanings of the cards, but work more on engaging your own psychic
connection that will allow you to see messages in the pictures on the
cards. Bring a tarot deck! The Rider Waite Tarot is suggested, or
another that fits your style. Enrollment is limited to keep the class

Course Description:
This class is an
introduction to the ancient and therapeutic science of Aromatherapy, which
dates back thousands of years. You will learn how this healing art works
and the positive effect it has on your mind and body. The essential oils
will be introduced and you will learn which can be used to achieve the
most effective results and how to use them safely and properly. You will
have the opportunity to experience the amazing aromas of various
therapeutic essential oils and the ones recommended to have on hand. |

medications that only mask the symptoms (& create side effects) without
offering a cure. In this class, we will use the mind/ body connection to
affect healing on the physical body through guided imagery meditations and

Hazel Dunlin is the founder and president of Avalon Moon, Inc., author of Traversing Veil & Shadow: A Literary Composition, and a founding member of a local coven established in 2003. A passion for her natural artistic and psychic abilities, the occult, and a self-education in the archaeology and anthropology of ancient civilizations has led to a life steeped in the esoteric. As a psychic Hazel is able to 'see' ancestors and read the past lives of others. As an artist she works with acrylic on canvas, the art of Mehndi (henna), and other mediums to create unusual (and sometimes wearable) works of art, some of which are available at Avalon Moon. |

Jeanne Sands is a Reiki Master in the traditional lineage of Usui, Hayashi, Takata, Gray, Rosenthal and is the author of Reiki, Pure & Simple. She is also a graduate of The New England Center for Aromatherapy, the American Institute for Aromatherapy and Herbal Studies, and a Professional Member of The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. As the founder of The Secret Garden Healing and Teaching Center located in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York, Jeanne offers private Reiki treatments, and certification in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Method of Reiki for First and Second Degree at The Secret Garden, and teaches aromatherapy classes at Avalon Moon. |

Diana Friedell is an actress, director and teacher who began her intuitive training at Fellowships of the Spirit, in Lilydale, NY, when she was searching for spiritual meaning after her 5 yr. old son, Jamie, passed away tragically in 1995. She felt a calling to make her gifts available to people when her clairvoyance, clairaudience, and clairsentience abilities began to blossom and grow after being enrolled at the School for Spiritual Healing and Prophecy. Diana graduated from the two year school at Fellowships of the Spirit in 2004 and has become a Certified Metaphysician, and an ordained Minister. |
