Pentagram and Pentacle Jewelry
The five pointed star, also known as
the pentacle or pentagram, is the acknowledged symbol of Earth-based
religions. It is not an evil symbol and does not represent the Christian
deity Satan or the devil. What the Pentacle is - an ancient symbol dating back tens of thousands of
years. Its five points representing the sacred Elements; the four lower
points denote the Elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water with the fifth top most
point signifying Akasha - the Spirit or the Divine force that creates life from the four
Elements. The circle around the pentacle
symbolizes wholeness, protection and the unending cycle of birth, life, death
and rebirth.
